It is good...

• To be back in our old, bigger space downstairs. The ventilation problem is not affecting us any more for now as a result of the colder weather. We have heard from the Bloor Valley club that the problem will be fixed permanently by spring time.
• To see Joseph Shaw back in the dojo so soon. He's been spotted doing warm-up, helping new people, and looking quite chipper. Take good care of yourself, Joe, and we'll see you back on the mat soon.

Tora Aikikai hosts the annual OAF seminar with Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan and Mitsunari Kanai Shihan.

This is the biggest aikido seminar of the year in Ontario and is not to be missed. This year, it will be hosted by Tora Aikikai in Brampton. If you are planning to attend, be sure to register early to receive the discount. Donovan Waite Sensei seminar CANCELLED

We have cancelled the seminar that was to be taught by Donovan Waite Sensei at the Metro Central YMCA, on the weekend of November 16-17, as a result of a conflict with the previously scheduled 1996 OAF seminar (see above).

Please note: After the Expo, I supplied to Aikido Today Magazine a list of the names of Aikido Shugyo students who helped out at the event. Oleg Gorfinkel's name was not included in the video's list of credits and should have been. Apologies for what I am sure was an oversight.
