Keener Award

Amir Kordbacheh is the Keener for this session. For two years Amir has been teaching the kids' classes at the Bloor Valley Club with the assistance of his wife Kate. While the rest of us are enjoying whatever it is we enjoy early Saturday mornings, Amir is consistently there at ten, ready to teach his enthusiastic students. As a Board member and the dojo Treasurer, Amir also gives a lot of time to aikido besides training. On the mat, he practices concentratedly and I understand he especially enjoys taking ukemi for sankyo.
